THREAT SIGNAL Launches Guitarist Search
March 28, 2007Canadian metallers THREAT SIGNAL are seeking a replacement guitarist for Marco Bressette who left the band to focus on studio work.
Commented the group: "[We are looking for] a solid six-string guitar god who will drop whatever life he currently has to tour, write, and record with us. Being in THREAT SIGNAL must be the single most important thing in your life or please dont apply. Must have professional gear, down pick like a maniac, clean criminal record, between 21 and 30 years of age, and willing to relocate if not local.

"First download the 'tryout' package at www.threatsignal.com. It contains MP3s, and Guitar Pro files (TABS) of two songs. If you do not have Guitar Pro, get it for PC off our website. Submit a video of yourself playing the two songs. Submit a short video of yourself playing your own written material. Links to the videos can be sent to [email protected]. If the video needs to be mailed, contact us for info. Also, submit a written short history of yourself as a guitarist.

THREAT SIGNAL was honored with the "Canadian Recording of the Year" award at the 2006 Hamilton Music Awards, which was held Nov. 19, 2006 in Hamilton, Ontario.
THREAT SIGNAL last year posted a self-produced video for the song "Counterbalance" at YouTube.com. The clip features footage of the band on the road, in the studio with producer Christian Olde Wolbers of FEAR FACTORY, snippets from the "Rational Eyes" production video shoot, and plenty of live footage from North American shows as well as the band's appearance at Germany's Earthshaker Fest.
THREAT SIGNAL's debut album, "Under Reprisal", was released on August 22, 2006 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.
